2 Years Remembering Angela

We had hoped to do many things to remember Angela over these past two years. But the world had other plans forcing us to focus inward on the present moment and cling more closely to family.

This May 9 marks the two year anniversary of Angela’s passing into peace. I remember that day vividly, singing and playing to her as she left this world.

The rest was a whirlwind of tears, anger, joys, sorrows, friends, family, and music... 🎶 as the world somehow continued to hum along in rhythm.

Visiting her gravesite not long after the funeral, we placed her fav peanut M&Ms by the temporary marker, while her nieces danced in the grass, and someone pointed out a nearby stone inscribed with the name, Fine. “Look, Angela is Closer to Fine!” and we all got to laugh again...just knowing how Angela would have gotten a kick out of that!

We hope you will join us in honoring Angela‘s memory. On Friday, May 14, at 6 PM CST the name Angela Denice Gold will be lovingly inscribed for perpetual memorial at Shaare Emeth Temple. Visit www.sestl.org and click on the quick link for media center to access their evening Shabbat service.

On Sunday, May 16, at 1 PM CST Angela’s stone dedication will take place at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery on White Road. A small group of Angela’s friends and family will gather to sing and celebrate and remember a beautiful life she shared with all of us.

It will be a brief gathering for a simple ceremony, a few brief words…. and likely a couple of songs. If anyone has anything you would like to say, you are welcome to do so. PLEASE SHARE and your words will be added to the ceremony. 💗

As numbers are limited at the gravesite, we hope to live stream on Facebook that day. So please join us for any of these that you can online. Remember her spirit by saying her name in your heart.
