A Birthday Year to Remember

Wow, five years since your passing. Some days it seems like no time has passed, and some memories feel more distant. This year, we got to celebrate your 48th big, and bring your memory closer to us.

We finally made it to California, to your school, and 2nd home, Yavneh, where so many friends stood up to honor your memory, to sing and to harmonize, and celebrate the light you brought to the world. We've been waiting for this event since Covid postponed it four years ago, and after years, after graduations and retirements, thinking it was too late to expect others to keep that momentum going... it arrived, thanks to wonderful friends, Aviva and Jamie, and more who have kept your memory present.

We had no idea that you had such an impact on the music program at Yavneh, making the school into a place where, as one person said, "We celebrate everything through music" 🎶 There, they dedicated the Angela Gold Music Room with a lovingly sculpted plaque in your honor, and each person sharing heartfelt words as they blessed the space with song. It was amazing to feel your energy, your spirit, and your imprint walking into this space, and to have conversations with so many who shared their memories of you.

In addition to having this moment in your spiritual presence, this year, we were also able to help fund SLBC (Song Leader Boot Camp) again and bring more musicians to this incredible St Louis based music program.

Thanks to the generous support of friends, we can continue to honor Angela's memory, and keep her spirit alive through Music and Harmony every year by supporting Angela Gold's Music Scholarship Fund. This is how we do it!
