Hello all! Itâs birthday month again. 46 years⌠missing you for 2 1/2 of those, and three birthdays to date. It doesnât sound long⌠But in kid years it is enormous.
I love that you share your birthday month and numbers with your littlest niece, Risa, 11/17 for you, 11/2017 for her. She only got to know you for a brief time, but we talk about you often to where you feel like a presence in her life. She often mentions her âAunt Jellyâ. She knows your face, your joy, and your music. your spirit for tinkering⌠Especially with her light fixture!
In this birthday month, as we plan RiRiâs fairy themed celebrations I constantly think of how much joy you would have in all these precious, goofy, silly, sweet moments, and I get an uncontrollable smile and sometimes a giggle just in thinking of your priceless reactions!
Iâm so grateful that youâve imprinted on your niecesâ lives and they will always know and love their Auntie.
To friends and family, and all who give thanks for the joyful moments that you spent knowing Angela, as you plan and prepare for this month of gratitude and the busy holidays ahead, slow downâŚ. Take in a moment of joy that loved ones bring to you. Even as weâve been socially distant from many of our people, we are more thankful than ever for the precious time we get together.
In memory of Angela on her 46th Birthday this month (and in celebration of her nieceâs 4th), our goal is to add $4000 to Angelaâs Music Fund for the month of November.
Please join us by sharing this message widely. Consider making a small celebratory gift to each of your loved ones and print your customizable certificates from the donate page, with our gratitude.

Today, during Shabbat services this Saturday, October 29, 2022, while the Torah was still open for the reading, Congregation Beth Jacob (Redwood City, CA) educator Bill Futornik acknowledged your precious Angela (z"l) for having been a founder of their shul's "Power Hour," a musically-infused alternative service held each Saturday Shabbat service. It all began, he explained, nine years ago in 2013 because of Angela. She was so much a leading influence. And how much she loved her family and nieces. Not infrequently, did she sit with friends among fellow congregants at Shabbat evening and afternoon kiddushim and open her phone camera to show photographs of her precious nieces -- whether at Temple Beth Sholom in Burlingame, CA (San Mateo County),âŚ
You are missed so much by your friends in the JMDL!
Robin.... That was so beautiful! I am so proud of you for continuing to remember Angela in such a loving and generous way! I am also pleased that you keep her in Rosie's and Risa's hearts and minds as you share Angela's music and your memories with them.
I love you!
